It is a noticeable change that occurs in the size of the testicle in case a person is affected by this type of cancer. By self-examination one can do the preliminary identification of the disease. Rolling the testicle in between the fingers can do the examination. If any lump is felt or any change in shape is noticed, it should be consulted with a doctor immediately.

Any kind of abnormality should be taken care of immediately and one must be aware of the fact how does testicular cancer look like. Conventional method of treatment may result in delay and spread of the disease. Therefore, an ultrasound should be carried out to make a confirmation about the enlargement or any other abnormality that has occurred in the testicles.

Testicular cancer may develop in one or both the testicles. The most susceptible age for testicular cancer is between the ages of 20 to 54 years. It is not a very common disease and sometimes it is confused with other diseases or abnormalities with similar symptoms so one must be very much aware about the fat of how does testicular cancer look like. As a result, it is essential to go for check up at regular intervals to prevent testicular cancer.

The main cause of testicular cancer is due to a condition called cryptochidism or undescended testicles. Hereditary factor also contributes to the occurrence of testicular cancer, If a person has this disease, it is more likely that has brother or son also gets the disease. If a person has been cured of testicular cancer, there are chances of recurrence in the other testicle.

Testicular cancer is curable and early and proper diagnosis without negligence is important to fight the disease. Diagnosis can be made through ultrasound, blood test or biopsy as the case may be. If there any doubt regarding any kind of abnormality in the testicles, one should consult a doctor immediately to avoid further spread of the disease.
